Restylane provides immediate benefits by helping to increase volume beneath the skin, and each treatment lasts for up to 6 months. Hyaluronic acid also helps to replenish moisture in the skin, which improves skin firmness, flexibility, and appearance. Regular use of Restylane may also stimulate collagen production, leading to longer-term benefits.
One syringe of Restylane is normally enough to treat one hand. Side effects are minimal but some patients may experience temporary swelling, itching, or tenderness.
