Skinvive’s key ingredient is hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring sugar molecule that is found in the body. Its main purpose is to help the skin to retain moisture. Previous generations of dermal filler products have used a thick injectable gel version of hyaluronic acid, but Skinvive works a bit differently.
Skinvive uses tiny microdroplets of hyaluronic acid that are injected below the surface of the skin into the “dermis,” the skin layer that retains moisture and gives the skin its elasticity.
